Volunteer Program
Our success in rescuing homeless and abandoned animals from shelters is attributable to the dedication and commitment from our volunteer staff.

The generous gift of time means so much to a shelter animal who is waiting placement with a new family. Our volunteer program truly does make a difference in our rescued animals' lives.

New Beginnings for Animals is located in the Mission Viejo/Aliso Viejo area of Orange County.

New  Beginnings does not have salaried employees - we rely solely on volunteers to support our rescue activities.  We are always looking for new members to join our organization  The following are some of the areas where help is needed:

Dog and Cat adoption Days - Help us show our animals at weekend adoption
   events - 3 to 4 hours.

Cat Handlers - Morning and evening shifts available. Our cat volunteers clean
the cages, feed the cats, and spend time playing and socializing with them.

Fundraising Activities - We have various fundraisers throughout the year to
help raise money for our rescued animals. We rely on volunteers to make these
   events possible.

We offer flexible shifts on weekends and weekdays, days and nights, to accommodate individual needs. Our rescue group is located in South Orange County. We ask that all of our volunteers have their own transportation and must be over the age of 18, unless accompanied by their parents. Click here to fill out an online Volunteer Application.
